I may have spent the last hour looking at old Isuzu Elfs on goo-net-exchange...

...such as this 1985 Elf 150 Super FLATLOW. Personally, I think it looks great. However, I imagine it’s a bit slow (C240 2.4L I4 non-turbo diesel; 68 hp, 106 ft-lbs). I can’t seem to find the weight listed anywhere, but I can’t imagine it would be too heavy.

Only 29,000 KMs, and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Another Elf 150 Super FLATLOW; this one is a 1980 and is in slightly worse shape.

I’m liking the brown vinyl (?) interior. It looks so inviting...

...and the radio so simple...

Both Elfs have a 5 speed column shift manual transmission.

This one has 32,000 KMs, and is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

I don’t know why I like these so much. Maybe because they remind me of Kei trucks, just bigger. Like the Elfs, I find myself strangely drawn to certain Kei trucks, such as the older Subaru Sambars...

I like it. Personally, I’d love a Mk1 Mazda Bongo pickup.
